About me

After 27 years in New Zealand, I made the move to Southeast Asia, where I’ve been ever since (with some time in Europe in between), working in and on online businesses.
Professional me
After working for eight years in a retail environment (working up to managing several different departments in one of New Zealand’s busiest grocery stores), I was lucky enough to get to know some great people from the digital nomad community in Vietnam, who introduced me to online marketing.
Since then, I’ve been focused on growing businesses and delivering results with content marketing, SEO, product management, customer support… and all the other fires that come with building small-scale online startups.
Outside work
When I’m not working, I’m in the gym, creating something, or reading.
I’ve been doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA since 2015. I coach part-time at Thao Dien Jiu Jitsu, and founded Jiu Jitsu Spot, an global online directory for Jiu Jitsu gyms.
I also write novels and short stories, and blog about sports (mostly basketball) when I have the time.
